About Logan
Logan Carter received a BFA in Acting from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago. While at DePaul, Logan studied acting technique, Shakespeare, improv, musical theatre, voice and speech, on-camera and performance in a conservatory setting, and was trained in improv technique by members of Second City and Improv Olympic. Upon graduation, Logan moved to Los Angeles, where she studied at the Lesly Kahn Studio, and began teaching acting at the Performing Arts Workshop for children in Redondo Beach. Logan moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2007 to teach Speech and Drama at Carbondale Middle School, and for the past 3 years has taught acting and improv to children for Theatre Aspen, Thunder River Theatre and Jayne Gottlieb Productions. Logan has directed a dozen children's musicals with JGP, the most recent being "Legally Blonde, The Musical". She has performed locally for Thunder River Theatre, The Hudson Reed Ensemble and Aspen Community Theatre.

ADVANCED ACTING ASPEN
This class if focused primarily on advanced level of acting where teen actors are required to make choices, getting into the body of another character, detach from yourself, connect to scene partner, deliver dialogues, subtext, etc. Previous acting experience or training helpful - but not required.
